Thoughts on Flash
Apple has a long relationship with Adobe. In fact, we met Adobe’s founders when they were in their proverbial garage. Apple was their first big customer, adopting their Postscript language for our new Laserwriter printer. Apple invested in Adobe and owned around 20% of the company for many years. The two companies worked closely together to pioneer desktop publishing and there were many good times. Since that golden era, the companies have grown apart. Apple went through its near death experience, and Adobe was drawn to the corporate market with their Acrobat products. Today the two companies still work together to serve their joint creative customers – Mac users buy around half of Adobe’s Creative Suite products – but beyond that there are few joint interests.

Adobe首席执行官Shantanu Narayen在近日曾表表示，Adobe的多家合作伙伴已经收到了Flash Player 10的早期版本，今年晚些时候开发人员也可以下载Flash Player 10手机版的Beta测试版本，包括Google的Android、微软Windows Mobile、诺基亚Symbian以及Palm的webOS。
Adobe官方博客也发布了一条最新博文，称Android用户现在可以进行注册，以获取Flash Player 10.1和Adobe AIR 2.0测试开放通知，注册登记之后将会在第一时间收到这两个软件的测试通知。这次登记主要是为了了解用户的设备分布情况，以尽快完成测试版软件的开发和优化，不过Adobe并没有公布任何具体的测试日期信息。
